Refer-A-Friend Terms and Conditions

1. A Qualified Referral is defined as the purchase of a Subscription at the www.jackpotrewards.com site (the "Site") by a person (a "Referred Subscriber") who has not previously purchased a Subscription on the Site and who arrives at the Site via another Jackpot Rewards Subscriber's Refer-a-Friend Program link ("Personal Link"). Only one Qualified Referral can be earned for each Referred Subscriber. Any additional or subsequent Subscription purchases made by a Referred Subscriber at the Site will not be Qualified Referrals.
2. A Member in good standing is a person who has properly purchased a subscription on the Site in accordance with the terms of the Jackpot Rewards Membership Agreement (the "Membership Agreement"), has kept their subscription active, and has not violated the terms of the Membership Agreement.
3. Personal Links will be issued only to Jackpot Rewards registered Subscribers. A registered Subscriber can obtain a Personal link by logging into the Site and going to the Refer-A-Friend page.
4. The individual who was issued a Personal Link by Jackpot Rewards will be considered to be the "Referring Subscriber" for all Qualified Referrals made using that Personal Link, regardless of whether a Referred Subscriber obtained the Personal Link directly from the Referring Subscriber or from another source. A Referring Subscriber cannot refer themselves using the Refer-A-Friend program.
5. For each Qualified Referral, $10.00 will be deposited in the Jackpot Rewards Cash Back accounts of the Referring Subscriber and Referred Subscriber within seven (7) days after the Referred Subscriber has registered using the Personal Link of the Referring Subscriber and remained a Subscriber in good standing for one full billing cycle. If the Referring Subscriber or Referred Subscriber cancels their Subscription before the Referred Subscriber has been a Subscriber for one full billing cycle then neither the Referring Subscriber, not the Referred Subscriber will be paid the $10.00 referral fee. If the Referring Subscriber cancels their membership before the Referred Subscriber has been a Subscriber for one full billing cycle, but the Referred Subscriber remains in good standing for one full billing cycle, then the Referred Subscriber will still receive the $10.00 referral fee.
6. Members of Jackpot Rewards who are in good standing on May 10, 2008 will have $10.00 deposited in their Jackpot Rewards Cash Back account for each Member that they referred and who registered with Jackpot Rewards from 2/20/08 until 4/9/08 and who was still a Member in good standing on 4/10/08 ("Grandfathered Referrals"). To be eligible as a Grandfathered Referral the Referred Subscriber must have used the special link contained in the Refer-A-Friend email invitation that was generated by Jackpot Rewards and was sent to them by the Referring Subscriber.
7. If the Referring Subscriber and Referred Subscriber enter the Jackpot Rewards Super Jackpot Sweepstakes and the Weekly Sweepstakes that Jackpot Rewards may offer from time to time by using their Subscription account then they will be eligible to receive additional entries into those Sweepstakes pursuant to the Official Rules. The entries of the Referring Subscriber and Referred Subscriber are those entries associated with their respective subscriptions which were linked using the Refer-A-Friend program pursuant to these terms and conditions.
8. If a Referring Subscriber provides a Personal Link to another person by email, the email must be created and distributed in a personal manner that is appropriate and customary for communications with friends and family members. Bulk email distribution, distribution to strangers, or any other promotion of a Personal Link in a manner that would constitute or appear to constitute unsolicited commercial email or "spam" under any applicable law or regulation is expressly prohibited and will be grounds for immediate termination of the Referring Subscriber's account and deactivation of the Personal Link.
9. The amount earned for Qualified Referrals is subject to change by Jackpot Rewards at any time without advance notice.
10. All amounts earned will be deposited into the Referring Subscriber's Jackpot Account and will be subject to the terms and conditions of the Jackpot Rewards Membership Agreement.
11. The Refer-A-Friend program and all use of the Site are subject to the Site's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, posted on the Site.
12. Jackpot Rewards expressly reserves the right to close the account(s) of any Referring Subscriber and/or Referred Subscriber and to request proper payment if the Referring Subscriber and/or Referred Subscriber has purchased a Subscription fraudulently or uses or attempts to use the Personal Link in breach of these Terms and Conditions or in violation of any statute or governmental regulation. Jackpot Rewards will have no obligation to pay any referral fees if it determines that the Referring Subscriber or Referred Subscriber have violated these Terms and Conditions. Jackpot Rewards expressly reserves the right to recoup any referral fees paid based on referrals which are determined not to be Qualified Referrals or as a result of fraudulent activity on the part of the Referring Subscriber or Referred Subscriber. These remedies are in addition to any remedies that Jackpot Rewards may have under the terms of the Membership Agreement.
13. Jackpot Rewards reserves the right to cancel the Refer-A-Friend Program or to change these Terms and Conditions at any time in its sole discretion.
