Jim Miller

Founder and CEO

Jim is the founder and CEO of Jackpot Rewards, Inc. After graduating from Boston College in 1990, Jim was the founder and CEO of a telecommunications company that specialized in niche and affinity marketing of long distance services that grew to more than 250,000 customers. Jim subsequently sold the business to a multinational telecommunications company. Since then, Jim has donated a considerable amount of his time and resources to improving the educational opportunities of poor and at-risk children. Jim is a Trustee and Vice President of Boston’s Inner-City Scholarship Fund which has generated over $100 million for the educational needs of poor and at-risk children in Boston. Jim lives in the Boston area with his wife and their three children.

Ken Keyes

Vice President, Operations and Marketing

Ken leads the business operations and marketing teams for the company, and has been involved in building Jackpot Rewards since its inception. Prior to Jackpot Rewards, Ken co-founded an online marketing company, which he ran for six years. Ken was responsible for all the company’s revenue and was integral in developing the company’s online advertising strategy. Prior to starting his own company, Ken held several key business operations and business development positions with the marketing firm LifeMinders, Inc. Ken has also held senior sales and marketing positions in the software and services marketplace for organizations such as Ceridian Employer Services and Versyss, Inc. Ken graduated from Boston College.

Ron Rainville

Vice President, Systems and Technology

Ron oversees all development, technology and production activities for the company, and brings to Jackpot Rewards more than 25 years of systems and technology experience. Ron has held a variety of executive management roles over his career most notably: Director of Hosting, Managed Services and Data Centers for ATTWireless and Cingular. Ron was VP of Operations at Guardent where was responsible for the managed services division of Internet security for Fortune 500 and Financial 50 companies. Prior to Guardent, he was COO of USDataCenters, where he authored and implemented a solutions package that was both more extensive and more comprehensive than that offered by the competition. Ron was also Director of Operations for Lycos, where he was responsible for all of its Technical Operations and site delivery for the Lycos Network of Internet Properties.

Dave Eggers

Vice President, Finance

Dave oversees the company’s financial management and reporting. Most recently he served as CFO of GAZ Group, Russia's largest commercial vehicle manufacturer, where he directed all financial activity for a company with $5 billion in annual revenues and 125,000 employees. Prior to GAZ, Dave spent 11 years with The Ford Motor Company in several senior finance roles. Most of his Ford career focused on starting up and growing operations in Ford’s emerging markets, including Russia, where he was finance director for manufacturing, and Thailand, where he served as deputy CFO for all Asia Pacific and Africa Operations. Dave graduated Magna Cum Laude from Boston College’s Honors Program and received his M.A. and M.B.A. from University of Illinois.

Chris Keyes

Vice President, Business Development

Chris is responsible for developing the company’s rewards program offerings, including relationships with merchants and other strategic partners. Prior to joining the company, Chris managed all sales and business development efforts for WNI Inc., a publicly-traded international technology and media company. Prior to WNI, he served as a vice president and general manager of Garden.com, a publicly-traded Internet e-commerce pioneer. At Garden.com, Chris had revenue and P&L responsibility for the second largest division within the company. Earlier in his career, Chris founded an environmental company that he sold to Browning Ferris Industries (BFI). Chris continues to serve as a business development advisor to many start-up ventures. He received his undergraduate degree from Boston College and his M.B.A. from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Management.

Matt Connon

Vice President, Corporate Development and General Counsel

Matt evaluates and drives new strategic initiatives, business opportunities, and strategic relationships. Matt also manages and directs Jackpot Rewards’ legal matters. Prior to joining Jackpot Rewards, Matt was vice president of business development at Virtual Iron, a server virtualization software company. Prior to Virtual Iron, he started and managed the OEM business at Fast Search & Transfer (“FAST”), during a time of rapid growth from annual revenue of $36 million in 2002 to $160 million in 2006. He also worked at CentrePath (formerly GiantLoop Networks), where he was responsible for developing partnerships, and securing strategic investments as part of the company’s fund raising efforts. Earlier in his career, Matt practiced law with Morrison, Mahoney & Miller and Kenney & Goddard in Boston. Matt holds an M.B.A. from The F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College, a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School, and B.A. from Boston College. He is President of the Mt. Abram Ski Club, a Maine non-profit organization that promotes snow sports for children, and supports amateur athletes for national competition in snow sports.
